We seek to uncover and celebrate businesses that are enterprising by habit, rooted in values and deeply connected to their communities. They are not chasing valuation, they are upholding tradition, sustaining livelihoods and delivering consistent value to customers and often across generations.

At NSBT, we believe business education must be more than case studies from afar. It must include lessons from the soil we stand on. This initiative brings together students and faculty to learn directly from local entrepreneurs, to observe, document and internalise the wisdom embedded in their journeys.

This is not just about food businesses. It is about reframing how we define success. It is about honouring those who have quietly shaped the soul of our city. Through these stories and the reflections that follow, we hope to instil in our students a deeper appreciation for entrepreneurship that is not just scalable, but sustainable, soulful and sincere.
